Pete Sparks' dog yard and periodical "Your Friend and Mine" was in Bladensburg, Maryland for many years. Pete's business cards for that yard have a picture of Pete reflecting a genius as he exhibits his famous winning Sparks' (Henneberger's) "HUNKY". Years later Pete moved to Florida. While on his way he broke down in Carolina and
J. R. Loposay helped him out a bit. Pete paid Jim in kind with a Lou Colby bred pup. The result is Colby's (Sparks') "TEXAS" and "CHITA" seen up close in the Loposay bred Bob Finley's "CH"BO" ROM 6x, the producer of "CH"BULLY", "CH"CHARLIE", "CH"JEEP", "CH"HOLLY" and "CH"OUTLAW". Pete owned an extremely large
billboard advertising American Pit Bull Terriers to those entering the state of Florida.
This is a famous photo of "The Dean of the Fighting Dog" as he would greet people and wave to those driving by. In memory of Peter Wilson Sparks, Your Friend and Mine.
